They did call the M45 in 2004 "The Muscle car with brains" I have the DVD from Infiniti that I got in 04 called "Born-again Muscle Car". In this DVD, they pit the M45 against a 69 Charger and a 67 Camaro . Naturally, the M45 out cornered those sloppy Muscle cars. I like the styling of the previous gen M45. Very 60's musclecar

Yeah I remember that also. They were going after the muscle car crowd. In fact the 2 guys I knew who actually bought them when they first came out, definitely fit that mold. I must say I was impresssed when I first saw it.

You must really be tired of your GS. I do see the "Fast" appearance thing though.

What do you think of the Q45??

Thats true, but the M45 has won awards for best resale value. Only time will tell, but it looks like it will have good resale considering its a hit

"This year, Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com placed the Infiniti M among their 2006 Best Resale Value Top 10, along with the Infiniti G Coupe. Aside from these two prestigious awards, Infiniti also won Best Resale Value Awards in the Coupe and Luxury classes."

I've always been a fan of the previous gen M45. Big engine from the Q, High tech, now with resale value so low, quite a steal. Get a black on black tinted out with some nice rims... quite an attractive car. Reminds me of a GN. My girl called it an "MIB" car...

Another thing about the previous Gen M45 that I like. It is very rare. You see a 2nd gen GS on every corner in NYC, but I rarely see a 2nd gen M45.

This is so true. I honestly haven't seen an M45 since Thanksgiving.

Other than in a dealership, I've only seen it once on the road ever.

Yeah, the J35 is going for peanuts, even down here in Mexico where my cousin is thinking of picking up one instead of a Maxima.

my ex owns the last gen M45 and i got to say, when we hang out--we use her car most the time...its a dream to drive, tiptronic--fast as hell and i've done searching and they are cheap

definitely the best car for the money in its range, i would recommend it to any1 who ever considered it a car for purchasing
