He could get away with it here too, just as long as his plates are not id' judging from the distance there I guess its 50/50 depending how good the cop's short term memory is.
Things like this has happened in the states as well, but no one really wants to talk about those incidents either. But I guess it factors into sheer luck, no patrols in the air, car and car plates not being id'.
I also know someone that got away for the nite, in a mountain driving (he just totally left the cops behind.) Only to be caught a week later because they did get his plates after all.

it's just like redlight camera. if i am the car registered owner, and my wife drives the car and run redlight. i get the photo, all i need to do is go to court and they will dismiss it right the way

Jubus that car is fast...
I've heard of "people" getting away from the fuzz... the only things which are key is you have to do it in the first few minutes, max 5min any longer than that they will have back up notified and on ur butt.
And you necessarily don’t need to drive fast to get away... as long as you know the area very well you might be at an advantage....
Duck into a place like the Beverly center (mall with huge parking complex) be able to park your car and be able to walk away, you’ll be set. Having a friend pick you up isn’t a bad idea either

I came back out 20 minutes later and noticed the cop car was sitting next to the store with an eye on my car so I looked at my receipt and pretended there was something wrong and went back in.
Came back out 10 minutes later and he was gone.
