Arrow Mid Level Sales

CTS - 4,869
5 Series - 4,838
E class - 4,070
GS - 2,456
M - 2,178
Audi A6 - 1,597
RL - 1,047

I hope that I did this right bc the #s look a bit different than months past {esp the CTS} but I took em str8 from the posted articles. I guess incentives really do make a difference.

The GS has gone back to outselling the M - is order restored in the automotive world now?

now it is, GS350 and GS460 will change it, ES350 is only 20ish hp away from the GS430's HP and makes more power than the GS300, once 07 comes out the GS350 already makes more power than the old V8 and its going to cost less also being the V6 trim. I think people know this is coming and would rather wait. Same with LS430 sales, there has been huge coverage on the LS460 many people know about it and would rather wait. I dont think anyone wants to be stuck with an outdated engine seeing the newer much improved engines are just around the corner

I think the GS will continue to sell at the current rate or a little better (perhaps
3K a month once the GS350 and GS460 are out)? Lexus's whole lineup is going
to be so solid by the end of the year that a lot of heat is going to come from
above (LS) and below (ES, IS). The car is caught in no man's land IMHO.

Great list but sorry bub CTS is entry level, though its sized like a mid level. Starting price is under 30k-50k in V form.

As for the fake "M" I am sure they will blame me for Lexus having more sales, somehow I got in Lexus corporate and increased final sales figures

If I could ship you a pass to Hooters and a bottle of Hennessy, I would.

IS/ES split (sporty/comfy) by Lexus was an inspired move.

I included the CTS bc I remember seeing it in previous lists. I know nothing about Cadillacs except for the Escalade & that is only bc of rap music.

I fully expected the GS to outsell the M again but the numbers are so close I do not see the point in bragging rights but I think Infiniti needs all the positive press it can get so ...

I am amazed by the giant numbers the ES produces. And I thought the outgoing model was producing solid, respectable numbers.

I think it's safe to say that like the LS, the ES also embodies core Lexus strengths as tops in auto luxe, and is popular as a result.

I think the GS numbers are good, hope to see Lexus make those numbers go up in the near future with the GS 350, etc. I do hope that Lexus also does more to spice up the GS line...as I feel that in some ways there is unfinished business there.

I do think there will be some pent up demand for the GS350/460 at least initially, but they need a sports package option with the GS with revised suspension/active stabilizer etc. at least . . .

I expected maybe 6k. Almost 10k, that is crazy.
