I think that can be translated as "the 2IS appeals to a broad range of audience."

In fact, my dad just bought one in Taiwan. The salesman insisted to make him test drive the LS430 first because the saleman thought my dad looked like an LS guy.

When the older generation passes away then who's gonna buy GM and Ford cars? I for one can grow old with Lexus. I'm sure when I'm 70 years old I'll be driving an LS 460...

New vehicles with the highest percentage of buyers under 30

1. Scion tC 48.4%
2. Volkswagen GTI 37.4%
3. Mazda3 36.2%
4. Subaru Impreza 35.6%
5. Volkswagen Golf 34.7%
6. Acura RSX 33.8%
7. Mitsubishi Lancer 32.4%
8. Mazda6 32.0%
9. Acura TSX 31.0%
10. Scion xB 30.0%

They got as many Scions and Mazdas as Acuras. Just shows how affordable and sub luxury they are. Sad.

Acura is finally dropping the RSX after this year in an effort to bring Acura more upmarket against BMW (their biggest target). Their lowest model will be the TSX.

It's kind of ridiculous that Acura has had a Civic based model all these years. Imagine a Corolla based Lexus!

LMFAO I just spit my soup on my laptop. Believe me, I know exactly what your talking about espcially when I was living in the retirement Capital of the U.S. good ole Florida. I'm all for older people having the right to drive just as any other segment of society. However they should be retested as we all know their reflexes, judgement and sight all diminish as they go up in age. Just as you too young to drive you can be too old to drive.
I'll never forget being in The Village a few years back and this elderly woman if my memory serves me correct ran up on the sidewalk and mowed a few people down right near Washington Square Park. Scary sheet that I'll never forget. I laugh about it now but that day it wasn't so funny.

And yeah there is something to be said when the only U.S. cars that I or my peers/friends would even consider driving are from Chrysler. Ford and GM are dead with their exception of their Caddys which are barely keeping them relevant among young'ns.

If GM and Ford really knew their customers they would start designing wheelchairs!

I mean that the IS isn't on the list for young anymore, because it has a slightly higher average buyer group, I didn't say it was in the 70's but I meant more like mid 30s to 40

They would profit more per unit than they do on cars right now, lol.
