need your opinions on buying a car
Ok, my friend has a 88 celica all-trac thats been sitting at my shop for 2 years. Now he wants to sell it to me for $300. Do you guys think I should get it? It needs a wiring harness and the engine. interior is gutted and it has a roll cage. so what do you guys think?

Why would you buy it?
When you say it's been at your shop - do you mean a garage? If so, do you work on cars yourself? Would you recondition the car yourself? How's the rest of the drivetrain? How available are parts?

well he has 3 of them and I can take whatever i need from one of his, so parts will be no problem i guess. Yes its sitting at my shop (repair shop). But i also just found out that it hasnt been registered since 2001.
