Headlight cleaners (not that they do much but they have them)
Front parking sensors
and there are so many more.
Let's be serious here, the 745/750 costs a lot more - and there are a bunch of other little do-dads that most of us will never know about. But this stuff turns the Europeans on and thus the point of the article.
I can go on here (like how I can adjust the seat heating on my 550 to put more heat to the back or butt depending on the mood), but it really doesn't matter. The stuff is cool and it breaks a lot - end of story.

Another problem I think Lexus might have is that almost everyone in Europe drives stick, but I don't think Lexus makes a lot of manual models. They do have that IS220 for foreign markets, but mostly, they are luxury cars, and for US buyers (historically Lexus' primary focus), that means automatic 100% of the time. When I did a semester abroad in France, the mother in my host family told me that automatics are for cripples and old people. She drove a manual minivan - no joke. I think it was a Toyota or Nissan.
