Oops - thanks for straightening me out there.

Loved both the LS coupe and my GS sedan.

 

They were - are - both great cars, but, more than ten years down the road, one sees that the Legend shared many of its looks with later-designed and lesser cars (Accords), whereas the SC just doesn't look like anything else. Not to mention the possible 350 to 900 hp potential horses out of the 2jz-ge engine, even more with a gte swap, and cool stuff just coming out such as the Boost Logic turnkey turbo package for the SCs.

 

I wanted a legend coupe back in the day. The rear power windows on a coupe was hot. I have a 1st gen SC now and I love it.....I saw a 6sp legend sedan still contemplating whether to get it for my daily.

 

Both cars are great I would choose the Lexus but the acura is still a great car. As for the 1st gen RL. Its the onlt luxury car that could make me think twice bout a Lexus LS400. It was a little roomier than the Lexus and maybe quiter than the Lexus couldnt match the Lexus for features or prestige but may also be a better looking car. I think thats the best redesign acure has ever done.

 

I have a great reaspect for the Legend, a friend of mine currently have a 95 GS and I love it to death he keeps it impecably clean he has 184K mile on it and it still rides and drive like its right off the lot. Funny that I once offered to buy it from with cash in hand and he looked at me like I had lost my mind. Those cars are truely timeless and yes they (coupe/sedan) will still turn my head, in fact when I see ones that are junky that people had abused it hurts my feelings. The SC/Legend coupe to me are two of the best best looking coupes ever, matter of fact there aren't any coupes today that will stop me in my tracks like the those two did when they came out.
