Thumbs up Some cool stuff of new 2008 Camaro / 2009 Camaro

Haven't seen these posted here. Any Camaro concept fans here? I saw it at a car show and it looked pretty decent in person IMO.

looks heavy.

Is it high tech or low tech engine/tranny/suspension?

I was never a fan because they always used outdated technology, just like Vettes and Hemis.

I heard they are finally putting inn independant rear suspension and did away with the solid rear axel, at least its a first step, I'm not even sure the new Mustang dumped the solid rear axel.

corvettes are getting very modern for a domestic car they arent outdated besides the interior, performancewise they are improving greatly, winning American Le Mans races etc

I disagree with the claim that vettes are using outdated technology. I hope this doesn't refer to leaf springs and pushrods... Vettes still run A-arms, anti-roll bars, and half-shafts in their suspension, while the motors make astounding power and gas mileage, relative to their size and weight. If the Camaro is getting an LS7, and they pay attention to what the consumer wants with regard to suspension, then I'm all for it.
