So I get home from work and I have a message from an old friend, all it is, is this link.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=lch_exQJP...o%20high%20rpm
So I click on it and what can I say, I fell in love. Just watch it, and remember, this is a 6 cylinder.

Wow, that was insane. Not really F1 sounding, but still pretty crazy to rev that high on a street engine of that displacement. Really it sounded to me like a heavily modded RB26DETT.
I didn't really know the 2jz could rev like that, most seem to limit the redline to quite a bit lower than that even with a lot of mods. I know the RB26 revs like crazy though so I guess it's possible for the 2jz to do it.

That being said the engine is only at these RPMs for a short period of time, would I go around a road course at 9,000 rpms, hell no.
