Crazy looking car. I understand the the way the rules are written, sedans can have ABS so it will compete with the M3 GTR to see who has the best brakes in ALMS.

 

Does anybody know what's the update with Team Lexus? I just checked the American Le Mans Series' website and Lexus is not on the entry list for the upcoming August race. Anyone knows how testing is going??when are they planning on racing the car? I can't wait anymore! I want to see this car in action!

 

The car's racing debut will be during Lexfest at the Petit Le Mans in Atlanta in the last week of September. The next race after that will be up in Laguna Seca in October. A couple of us are planning to make the drive up to watch them run.

 

Sweet IS. Would be interesting too see Lexus offer a limited version of this. Seeing BMW and Mercedes sometimes do that for their heavily tuned cars they race with.
