Hello my fella Lexus members. As you may or may not know I recently blew my NSX motor and sold the vehicle for 16,500. Man I miss my baby. Well I got back in the market for 5 days. My choices were MBCL/GS430/745LI. All three vehicles were a blast to drive. But for some reason after I sat in the MB CL my mind was made up. I purchase a CL500 on last Thursday; the dealer had a CL55 & CL600 on the lot for the same price but with more miles. Plus I wanted java interior so the black CL55 & CL600 wasn’t an option. Man that CL55 was a blast to test drive. Maybe next time guys. Well my girl still has her GS300.

Congragulations. Enjoy it. And know this.......a big Mercedes will protect you in a crash like almost no other production car on the road. Don't be surprised, though, if the electronics are somewhat less than reliable.

Where did you pick it up?.........American Service Center in Arlington? Euro Motorcars? HBL at Tysons? All three are longtime Mercedes specialists...especially ASC.

Did the dealer.....or the Owners' Manual....give you any break-in rules? If not, PM me and I will.

And as always, I highly recommend SCRATCH-OUT to keep that new paint looking like new.

Enjoy it man, we were driving around with the CL-55 and a few other cars last night and I swear there is nothing sexier than a big wide pillarless coupe with all the windows lowered!!!

very nice, congrats! but definitely be aware of the problems on the CL. it's a very nice car, but the problems behind it is pretty well documented too. just make sure you have extended warranty of some sort

Thanks everyone I purchase the car from American Service center in Arlington VA. I just love the interior of my cl it's amazing. Of course I got the extended warranty i'm not that foolish. To be honest I still miss my NSX.

ASC is one of the best dealerships in this area to buy a Mercedes from. They have a very high reputation. Unlike a lot of other shops that split between M-B and one or two other brands, ASC deals ONLY in M-B, nothing else.
