2007 Toyota Corolla....not as nice as I expected!!(Update-launch of Redesign Delayed)

As he said, the Corolla will have a 2-dr version.
I'm not sure about the 2.0 litre, 150hp cause I heard 1.8 litre but obviously, not the old 1ZZ engine.
The 200hp version, I can attest that as I've heard it from an insider. It will have a 6-spd manual and possible 17" alloys (since TRD offers opt. 18s) but it's FWD like the Civic Si Coupe.
The CVT will be the optional transmission on the regular Corolla models with 5-spd manual as standard. Expect more safety features like side/side curtain airbags, TRAC/VSC, BA and 4-wheel disc brakes (I realise some are already options stateside). The new engines will also have dual VVT-i technology.
As for the Corolla hatchback, ya well, I guess Toyota decided the Matrix will suit us better than the hatchback (Corolla RunX).
Also, the new Matrix will be a "true" hatchback, not the wagon-ish style of the current model.
