The Corvette may have bad seats (article says) but I think I could afford some Recaros with the HALF PRICE it costs compared to the others. The Corvette is an amazing bargain.

Incidentally I like the 575M more than the 997T, not from the sport car perspective, just overall.

BTW, what is "AJ"? How do you get contacts like this anyway? Do you advertise your business in the Yellow pages and other avenues? What makes an owner of such cars pick you instead of other detailers? Just curious to know how you get your business that's all.

My detailing business is geared such that I cater more to "well off" customers. It's just like any segment of business; you have different providers that are designed to serve different markets. The quality of my work, the time I spend working on cars, the products I use, and of course my prices reflect that. As with any trade if you do good work people will find you. I don't do much advertising since Yellow Pages/store ads tend to draw from a demographic I generally don't serve; so I just rely on word of mouth really. Exotic car owners travel in small circles, so if you do well by one the others tend to find you. ]
Of course not every car I do is exotic, in fact most of them are cars we all own like G35s, 330is, IS's, etc... but still, owners of those cars are generally looking for quality work rather than cheap work.
Surprisingly there is probably more money in the mainstream detailing segment, but I'm not so much in it to make a killing as I am because I enjoy it, I enjoy the cars I work on and I enjoy meeting other car enthusiasts. So it works out.
Cheers.

I've never understood the appeal of the 911 turbo. If you want a Porsche, buy the GT3. It's more fun, and fun is what counts.
The Z06 is a brilliant machine. Using relatively simple technology, it hands the competition its *** on the track and the drag strip time and time and time again, and people still have the nerve to call it "poorly engineered" or "mullet mobile" just because of the badge. I guess that's what having a small ***** will do to you.
