First images from Cadillac's new Ad Agency. Looks fantastic!
As part of its new approach, Cadillac dropped its longtime agency, Leo Burnett, in favor of Boston-based Modernista. Cadillac and its new ad agency are messing with success in an effort to broaden the brand's appeal beyond the hip-hop crowd and the traditional, older Cadillac buyer. After an aggressive four-year ad effort designed around the Led Zeppelin song "Rock and Roll," General Motors' most prestigious brand will launch a new ad campaign next week that aims to lure consumer groups who haven't been big buyers of Cadillac in the past, particularly young people, women and baby boomers.
Here are some of the new ads which will carry the new theme, "Life. Liberty. And The Pursuit".
The ads look great minus the excessive use of lens flare.

That should help GM lose even more money.
The only folks driving caddies in Boston are old timers.
One neighbor (not old) had a CTS but ditched it for a used previous generation BMW 7 series.
At least this is not as bad as the old seville ads where some jerk in a members's only jacket was laying into a guy with a Lexus LS because his caddy had more features/power than the LS.
Then again, if they use some green day or Keene music in the ads I would take that as a step forward.
