Newport convertible does that kind of stuff. They've done a coupe of SC300's and a few 1st gen GS300's too.

As for the 300c it may not look great but if you own a 300c and want to stand out... thats pretty much what you have to do.

Talking

Give a 300 to Clarkson and the gang at Top Gear.

They'll turn ANY vehicle into a convertible!

Cheers,
Kermee

Paitience, Paitience. If he would have just waited a little, one should be coming soon from the factory....with probably a lower price and better engineering than an aftermarket job.

I've seen one in person and it is definitely impressive. You just don't see any drop top 4 doors
any more.

Everyone was in awe of it. Very exotic looking and really, really looked like a Rolls Royce.

I saw west coast customs do one... aside from the TVs, it looks really clean. They turned it into a 2-door as well.

That's because it is difficult enough to get any real rigidity with a two-door droptop platform, much less a four door with even more holes and openings in the structure. The last production 4-door convertibe in the the U.S. that I know of was the Lincoln Continental of the mid-1960's.
A new 300M convertible is coming but I believe it will be two doors, not four.

I've seen a company (don't remember who) do a Mayback convertible and a Phantom. Didn't like the Maybach but the Rolls Royce looked killer. If you want to see one hot 300C convertible coupe go to WestCoast customs website. They have converted a 300C into a 2 door convertible and a Dodge Charger into a 2 door hardtop, very good work. They even show the undersides of the work. Top quality.

Get one here for only 69K. Saw it advertised in the paper the other day. I wonder who does the conversion. It says they added extra cross bracing.
