Here's a couple pics of the G35 after putting on wheels. I didn't think it would need to be lowered but I am definitely tempted. This is a 1 year lease and I shouldn't but I have the itch. I'm thinking some Tein CS, tint, front lip and a subwoofer.....maybe a spoiler and I'm done. Then I'd want to keep it. I really want that new G35 coming next year so this is really tough on me. Oh well, decisions decisions.

Okay, a couple more pics. I like the wheels but I can just see this baby with a nice set of high end wheels. What is a modder to do?

I was told they were offering the 1 year lease because of the new style coming next year.

Wheels sizes are 19x8.5/9.5 with 20 offset. They are the Sevas S Star bought from D2 Autosport.

The other night I switched cars with wifey so that I could watch the car in motion on the interstate. I was amazed at how good it looked. Big meathooks were hugging the road. Car looked sorta porsche-like....at least it did in the dark. Actually, 3 people have said it reminds them of a porsche. I dunno about that but I like the car.

For one year, don't do it. Save up the money you would spend here and use it on the NEW G when you pick that up

ohhh what to do what to do
it needs a drop IMHO but for 1 year, i'd stay stock. and just mod the next 3year thing

by the way i got 1 year lease on my 06 FX35 and its one sweet deal compared to what we were paying for our 03 FX35. think payment of base Murano. with $76 total out of pocket for registration.

Damn, that is a good deal on an FX! Those wheels look smalls for being as big as they are. The car would most definitely look better dropped a bit, but as mentioned, for a one year lease I dont know that it'd be worth your time and money.

My friend was looking for a G35c, several came back in off 1 years leases and all look like excellent cars except for the 1 small detail that they have 12-15k on them with the original oil

That's a concern with any lease, did the lessee take proper care of the car. It's a crap shoot. The ES300 we traded in for our GS was a pre-owned car and obviously was not properly cared for by the previous owner. That's why we went back to new again. I did the pre-owned thing for 5 cars...all high end. Three were great joys to own. Two were nightmares of the highest degree. My SC is definitely a joy. I'll keep her forever.....unless someone makes an offer I can't refuse.

As for my lease experience...I'll do my maintenance and proper care. I'm a car guy. I wouldn't want to be responsible for passing on a problem to someone else. I've been there, I know how it feels. Heck, I haven't even hit the gas hard on the G yet and it's killing me.

Might as well go a head and drop it. Springs are cheap and you can install them yourself. When the lease it up just sell the springs to another owner. Total investment with alignment (If you do the spring install yourself) would probably be less than $400. If you sell the springs for $150 you are only in the hole about $250.

It's nice to know you will be taking care of the car, not that I thought you would abuse it like that

Can I ask what you 1 years lease agreement is, or you could PM me, I just researching at the moment cause Im looking for a new car, GS or Gcoupe, maybe a 350z
