Motorola might be well-known but their stuff definitely sucks. They literally destroyed their own high-end market by slashing their prices for the V3. I got one when it first came out in 04 at the pricetag of $500+. Now everyone and his neighbor has 1 (or 2 or 3 depending on if they got family plans).

To all those who are surprised Lexus is so low, please remember that this is WORLDWIDE brand recognition. The U.S. is but one (some would say small, compared to the rest of the world) market. Lexus is known here, but is a minor player in Europe and just rolled out in Japan. The rest of the planet has no clue about Lexus.

Funny, all these companies making complicated technology and high-end items, but in the end, the top company is one that mixes syrup with carbonated water. Brand name is a powerful thing. ![Cool](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
I'm surprised that Samsung is the #1 consumer electronics brand, ahead of Sony, Phillips, and Panasonic.
