there was a link to site where bunch of guys took their Ranges and G-Wagons off road.
one of the Ranges tipped over on a clime and ended up on its side, G-Wagen saved the day and put it back on a road, and then climed same hill with out any problems.

Incidentally, I used to take my RX300 offroad when I first moved down here. Used to climb an extinct volcano over in Toluca at super speed and finally quit doing it when I broke a shock. Was quite fun though.

this G-class is hot!!
The military police and presidential bodyguards here in indonesia still use it regularly as their official vehicles. And I know many other militaries around the world still uses it to go off-road. So, I guess its mainly in USA that the G-wagon is used for mainly civilians, riding down paved streets.
