Its so weird how to me it doesn't even look like a BMW. I think it looks very good with those mods.

I think the rim design is pretty good. With the face in black it's hard to tell what they look like exactly, especially when the lip is wide enough that the face is reflecting off of them. For me the verdict is out on the 5 series styling, with this particular car the lines look too busy for me, like there is too much going on.

I have to agree with the both of you, I like the 20" but I think 21" would be "perfect" however the issue is the modular companies (HRE, MODULARE, iFORGED, etc etc) do not have 21" components prepared yet, and the companies that do have 21' are primarily 1pc (forged or non). The styles are limited, and the lip sizes are not really there (most 21" forged have about a 3" rear lip)

I think the following cars are 21" slam dunks:

BMW 5-series (e60)
BMW 6-series (e63)
MB CLS (c219)
MB CL (c215)

come to think about it, derrick, why a lot of companies don't have 21s multi-piece? that sounds so weird

but yes, i completely agree, on the cars you listed? 20s look small, they need to be just a TAD bigger

Because its an odd size and there are only a few cars that will really use it. I'd say about 85-90% of the vehicles on the market are covered by 20, and 22" so for the wheel manufacturers thats a very small segment of the market to stock components for (remember all the barrels that must be stocked for 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11. etc etc) plus the outers etc etc

I really have been really trying to coax a few manufacturers to invest in this segment because I think if its availible other marques will jump in too.

very interesting. see the evolution from 17 to 18 to 19 to 20, you would really think they would do 21s before they hit 22s. but hopefully soon more cars will be best suit in 21s so they make some

Whoa, fellas, teh point of a M5 is to DRIVE , not to look at. 21s would render it useless.

Give me 19s 20 tops
