Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but I always had a thing for the Audi RS6. Loved those cars and some can be found in the 50K range today.

For example...

Are we talking $50k max otd? If so, discussions on 50k+ cars will just cloud the issue.

wait for GS460..........ok so it's a little over budget, but if you're up to 50, what's 8k or so more?

the M5 sounds good too, but prob expensive as hell to maintain/repair.

I dont know why you would want a BMW 7series man, I'd take a damn Kia Sephia over that!

*Arnold's voice* Dew itttt!

I love the 7, but what year can you get it for $50k? I believe you're looking at an 02 or 03, maybe an 04?

Another one that hit the depreciation big time is the 03> S class easily under $50k. But btw the 2, I pick the 7. It drives much better than the S

Let me take a picture of my S class fungus window.

This is an easy answer, most def. an E55 or a CL55 used, ofcourse.
An E39 M5, supersprint headers, custom exhaust, AA intake, DA chip, is a good choice too..

Brand new GS350. Used E55.. I remember reading somewhere that b/ c the AMG models are hand-built they are more reliable than the rest of the MB line.. anyone know if there is any truth to that?
