I have a AMG 55k and standard 550 model in my garage. I compare both cars the only diffrent I see was AMG has hand build motor with the tech name on it and standard motor does not... other than that.. they are the same.. and from my very own experiance. the standard 550 has way less problems than the AMG....

I'd have to say....Supra TT as well, GS350 loaded, and possibly the M5

 

"Hand built" as far as engines go equals "less reliable" to me, because humans can't measure or work to fine tolerances like machines can.
