Ok, I'm not loving it, but I always reserve judgement until I see it in person (LOVE THE INTERIOR HOWEVER).

I just asked my wife to look at it (she drives a 2006 MDX) and her comment was "It is nice!". So there you have it from a MDX owner - she likes.

The interior is 10 steps better (Is that real wood though?) and 300hp has a nice ring to it, even if its a V-6 in such a large truck.
Maybe it's only a SoCal thing but I rarely see MDXs on the road. There are a few FXs and many many RXs around my area, but I only know that my neighbor 2 houses down had a MDX for a while, but now it's a FX45.

I also never heard anyone cross-shopping the RX, FX or the X5 talking about a MDX. The previous generation probably wasn't as competitive. This new one might change that but we'll see.

Because they are different segments. The MDX with 3 rows is a totally different car than the RX, FX, and X5. If you need three rows (and if you have 2 or more kids with friends then you do), then the RX, FX, and X5 are not on your shopping list - and vice versa.

LOL. I see them all over the place.

I am not so sure about the redesign yet. We'll see how it grows on me.

Very nice interior and powertrain, but the exterior doesnt do much for me. Very mediocre in my opinion. That front grill is ugly.

The next X5 will have 3 rows...

Why would anyone cross shop the RX with either the FX or X5? The more logical choice would be the current MDX, but with this new iteration, even that comparison wouldn't make sense.

We crossed shopped the RX330 and MDX. Personally, I like the MDX over all better because of the better performance and more muscular looks, but I also like our RX looks as well. WE bought the RX330 for a couple of main reasons. The HIDs which the MDX didn't come with and the power rear hatch.

looks much better inside and out, and extra power is nice... base MDX is 37k though, so hopefully they didnt up the price by 4k...

Until I see more pics of the exterior, I'll reserve judgement. But the interior is pretty nice...a big improvement from the current MDX

anyways needs more pictures to do this SUV justice.
I can definately see styling cues in the steering wheel and the dash (both make a V)
