aka
FART club.
Has anyone seen this?
Since Lexus is under Toyota Motor Corp, I though it will be nice to gather opinions from you all.
There is even a forum for the club. OMG.
I am just amazed with the kind of ignorance that some ppl put up.
I am sorry if this is off topic.
Moderator, please move (or remove) this thread if not appropriate.

No.. That was his former teammate, Michael Waltrip who is starting his own Toyota team. He and former NASCAR champ Dale Jarett will be doing the driving in two team cars. There might be a third team car if the sponsorship comes though for some or all races next year. From what Waltrip has said, Toyota is buying him everything he needs, which takes 40-50 million dollars a year for a top notch multicar cup team.
If Toyota can afford 400-500 million a year for a non-winning F1 team, NASCAR is a downright bargin.
BTW I have been a serious NASCAR and F1 fan since the early '80s. I'm not a redneck, I'm a sophisticated hillbilly.

This is exactly why IMO, a Japanese brand will never lead the full size truck market.
I have meet some of these people personally. Their lame reasons are only that American trucks are "better" and that the Japanese bombed us in WWII. Some of these rednecks would rather die than buy Japanese. Seriously, that's just how they are. This doesn't surprise me at all. In fact I thought I would have heard about one of these clubs sooner.

First Amendment rights here.
He should have kept the sign up and let the guards arrest him. He would be a rich man.....NASCAR would end up paying a LOT out on that one.
However, having said that, the guy IS making a public fool of himself........there is nothing wrong with Toyota getting into NASCAR. They are now virtually as "American" as those Monte Carlos, Tauruses, and Dodge Stratuses out there on the track.

Granted he has the right to express himself. Whether it makes him look foolish is his choice. The mentality they hold isn't worth trying to enlighten them otherwise. They lead a happy life and that is what is
about the USA.
Good racing is good racing, doesn't matter what car or driver. IMO
