My New Ride: Couple of Teaser Pics...

Awesome pick-up TX
I was wondering if you were ever going to put up some pictures.
What year is it? It's so clean!
Black on white is indeed rare.
No doubt about the handling/performance for a big car
i-drive is not that bad...annoying, but not that bad
I should post up my brother in law's blk/blk 745i.

Thanks for all the comps guys.
Stats:
2003
28k pampered miles! (this car is so flawless it ain't even funny!)
Factory warranty to 100k miles!
Free service up to 50k miles!
Full pics coming soon...
Oh yeah... the factory brake pads are absolutely horrifyingly dusty. I use to think why did owners allow such a nice expensive car's wheels get so filthy? After completely washing the wheels after one day, ONE of driving, they turn almost black!
I'm not even attempting to slap on the chrome until I put on the ceramics!

my compliments on the new ride, homie...especially the color combo. Just as coveted in BMW circles as it is in Lexus circles...which reminds me, back in the day wasn't your GS400 white on black as well?
Hopefully the original owner worked out the numerous potential i-Drive software bugs with your particular car, I know that was a real pain for my Pops when he had his Li. Your not choosing the Li should also save you some headaches in terms of suspension anomolies as well. My father's Li had a strange harmonic imbalance at certain intervals at and above highway speeds...he had his entire steering rack swapped outas a result.
Also, do yourself a favor and find every way possible around that I-Drive button...I found it quite distracting and rather unsafe at times...just my honest assessment.
These cars are real highway runners though...you're gonna love it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you... For the wonderful compliments guys.
I truly look forward to some extended driving time in the bimmer, and I know those days will come soon (2.5 hr drive to Shreveport, LA for some Cajun dining & Craps ). iDrive is... intriguing if not consuming to sum that up. But even without it, this car has a multitude of "electronic gizmos" to learn. Is there another drivers seat with more adjustments?
But coming from the Z, it's like simple Motel 6 and the Ritz Carlton!

Believe it or not... It started raining moments ago! So again from the confines of my garage I just snapped these:
Oh and by the way... I installed the Akebono Ceramic pads prior to putting the chrome on and the results...
Damn near ZERO Dusting!!!!!! They have far surpassed my expectations and I would strongly suggest everyone perform this mod.
Also upcoming mod updae list:
Predator ICE Angel-Eyes
HID Fog-Lamps
