A convertible and coupe IS coming!
A new redesigned SC! I can't wait for the new SC - I hope they copy/improve upon the look of the MB SL, add 2 real rear seats, keep the reliabilty/luxury/value/technology and sell it for $70k or less. Lexus needs to make the current SC BIGGER and they will really eat into SL sales.

2008 Lexus IS
Coupe and convertible variants join the range. Also, a high-performance V-8 version is under development to compete with the BMW M3 and the next-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class AMG.
2008 Lexus JX
Redesigned LX 470 based on the new Toyota Tundra platform with a 5.4L V-8.
2008 Lexus LF-A
Prototype versions of the LF-A are currently powered by an all-new V-10 engine, reflecting Toyota's involvement in F1 racing--but with F1 shifting away from 3.0-liter V-10s to 2.4-liter V-8s next year, Toyota is re-thinking the whole idea. Hot rumor around the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show was that a production version of the car could be powered by an all-new hybrid powertrain with a small but powerful V-8 engine coupled to an electric motor powered by lightweight supercapacitors rather than batteries. The world's first hybrid-powered supercar would be the perfect halo car for the Lexus brand, where hybrids will be the most powerful, best performing vehicles in each model line.
2008 Lexus LS 600h
Hybrid luxury sedan brings power and fuel efficiency.
2008 Lexus SC
Redesign.
2008 Lexus VX
Larger than the RX, this new sport wagon will be derived from the GS platform. Look for V-6, V-8, and hybrid powertrains.
2009 Lexus RX
Redesign.

I for one would still prefer a 2-seater new SC if it's a hardtop convertible. I would prefer to see them offer sportier/higher hp versions than increase it's size.
OTOH, I would like to see Lexus offer a new 4 seater coupe like the Mercedes CL Class.

RE: SC 450
I hope they stretch the hood out and copy this look but with the Lexus style and flair:

Then price it at $70k or less and throw in an AWD option along with real 2x2 seating - this will attract buyers (like me) who live in colder winter climates who want to use it as a 24/7/365 daily driver and be able to carry 4 people.

I think this is pretty old news.
LX will stay. I am pretty sure. No way Lexus is dropping or chaning the name to JX or whatever. And please, please for the love of god, do not Tundra platform for the lexus flagship SUV. I dont care if Tundra is made of latest and greatest tech but it just sounds pretty bad to hear it. I would prefer LX based on Land Cruiser.

I actually think the JX is to be the vehicle described as the VX, but I have no sources to back that up. There are rumros that the LX would be less LC-based next time around though...
