Yeah, they're certainly not liberals.

I love how California is only suing the 7 largest automakers.
It's just like when McDonald's gets sued for selling unhealthy food and making people fat because they're the biggest chain. Hello! Just about EVERY restaurant sells unhealthy food!

These automakers targeted offer the most fuel efficent vehicles!
Toyota! Honda! Come on now.

It's a statement lawsuit.

If you make a big deal out of it, they'll make progress.

Gotta love the U.S. You hear someone scream "LAWSUIT" and everyone scuttles everywhere trying to figure out how NOT to get sued...

Arnold isn't a real Republican - his wife won't let him be.

It's not the cars...it is the flatulence caused by fast foods.

I don't look deeply into these things...what are the emissions from the diesel and exempt mass transit vehicles? They puke plenty of smoke into the air.

Nice, we, the taxpayers and car buyers, pay the price for the lawsuits on both ends.

I hope those companies pool their legal resources and budgets and crush the Californian government.

Is Schwarzenegger really supporting this?

Lockyer is suing on the theory that greenhouse gases are a "public nuisance"

The Republican governor struck that landmark deal with Democratic leaders in August during the waning days of the legislative session and after weeks of intense negotiations.

Lockyer said he intentionally waited until the Legislature passed that bill before filing his lawsuit against the automakers because he did not want to jeopardize its chances.

What next? sue the Dairy farmers of California, due to cows for emitting their fair share of green house causing gases?????

Typcial California politics!
