I hear you.
I own a S2000 and so back a few years ago. C&D did a comparo of the S2000 v 350Z.
They have a category called 'features and amenities'.
the 350Z got 8 out of 10 in features and amenities, while the S2000 got 2 POINTS
I don't say the S2000 has tons upon tons of features, but it does have:
leather
power operated top
AC
CD
Cruise Control
HIDs
keyless entry
^Ok so it's does not have heated seats (or such), but it does have a fair number of features. Not what I'd say 2 out of 10.
So fudge the features and amenities and got-to-have-it numbers viola you get a clear winner ( )

1. Not sure why the Audi was not included. I also am a fan of that car and its very good competition.
2. Sorry but when I think "got to have it" I am thinking celebrities want it, its in videos, the general public knows what it is, its a big deal. I'm thinking prestige and the "wow" factor. Not sure what they were thinking this time around.
I got the below quote from a guy on VWVortex and its funny but true. How can sales down 25%= "Got to have it"...lmao
That's f'n funny. In that case, Infiniti should have had points deducted for Used-to-want-to-have-it.
August sales were down almost 25%, while the 5-series was up 10%. On the year, the 5-er outsold the M more than 2:1.
That tells everyone that the 5-er is significantly more sought after.
All things told, good to hear the 550i's only weakness was price.

Agreed - complete crap. I LOVE C&D, but I'm not sure where this number comes from and I'm not sure where they get off calculating it - last but not least, I have to say, that of all those cars the M45 (which is a GREAT car) should not have a higher score than the E550 or 550 - much less the GS450h!

the GS is like the middle child in a RWD family... the IS (the youngest) gets the most love (ie most sold), the LS (the oldest) gets the most respect, and the GS is the forgotten one.

I used to like C and D a lot, but lately they have been writing nothing but completely craps.
I am not hating Infiniti and while I think it's a great car, it's no better than 550i or E550.
GS450h, on the other hand, is a gentleman's choice, not caranddriver's.

You pull up in a $71,000 550 and you will find SOMEBODY to do that for you. The car has ***** and has that image to make people do that.
