As an early-to-mid-90's Japanese supercar it was hard to beat the Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4. It had almost very conceivable gadget hung on it that the engineers could come up with. Folding metal roof, 4-wheel steering, 4-wheel discs with ABS, All-Wheel-Drive, Twin Turbos...even a dash-mounted switch that changed the sound of the exhaust coming out of the muffler. Needless to say, reparing this car after a significant accident was like working on a supercomputer. ( The Dodge Stealth Twin-Turbo was similiar but not quite as complex )

I had to go with the 300zxtt. I was around 12 or 13 when i 1st saw that car I told everybody I was getting me one of those cars 1995 I got my 1st true car a Black 300zxtt with black leather t-tops and chrome wheels that was my 1st love. Plus the 300zxtt in 1990 came out whupping every bodies azz from the corvette to porsche.

Pole Position
For me, it's got to be the Supra 6 speed TT, but the RX-7 has the best steering of the lot. Hey come over to England sometime, you will find the streets full of these monsters. I went to a show where they had around 250 Supras in a row. People are still importing these cars from Japan (used of course).

The NSX should definitely be on there.
mmarshall is right, the 3000 GT was filled with technology, but is a pig to drive compared to an NSX. The NSX is in a different class; aluminum body & suspension, mid-engined, titanium connecting rods... a fabulous car.
A nice set of wheels really makes the NSX look great. Here is ours with 17"/18" 5Zigen FN01-RCs in machined aluminum finish. Even my Mom loves driving this car!!!!
