I agree that some of them are funny, even if untrue in real life, but a few could be offensive to some people as well, such as the idea that if you like big Buicks, Mercurys, or Town Cars you automatically have one foot in the grave, ( untrue ) or that if you like VW Beetles or Cabriolets you are somehow " effeminate " or gay. ( also untrue )

One of them, however, though not completely true, is CLOSE to being true.....Mustang owners slowing down to 85 MPH in school zones. Mustang jocks, as a general group, especially those with GT, Cobra, or SVT models, are truly NUTS.

 

I have to agree with this one, I always get a kick out of the guy that has to name drop his "MERCEDES" or "BMW" or whatever every 2 sentences as if its a 2007, and when you inquire its a 1988 380SEL or a 1987 318i. Nothing against those cars, but its not the first thought that comes to mind when someone is constantly shouting "YOU KNOW I DRIVE A 'BENZ RIGHT??!!" lol

But thats what the "hype" as you call it does, they'd rather drive a 20year old "BENZ" than a late model Honda.
