You don't have to log into paypal right away. You can do it right after you buy it now, or you can wait until later. I often wait until the next day or two to pay for the items. I believe the article didn't mentioned if any money was transfered. All it states was buy it now was used to purchase the car. That is easy. Paying for it is a different story. I think all they were trying to say is the 3 year old ended the auction through buy it now which had an asking price of $17000. The seller understood and simply relisted the auction.

I also used money order to pay for items I bought before as well though buy it now if/when the seller requests it.
