I wish there was a airport runway to run at around here.

We know Gene... We know.

But let me see.... Given the choice between the two... "I'll take the M6 for major curbside appeal Alex."

The latest C&D has both cars tested on a track - the Z06 is VERY impressive (second fastest car I believe, next to the Ford GT) - but as reported by other mags, the car is just scary at the limit. The BMW was a differnet story - but hurt badly by its weight.

Comparing these two cars is like comparing apples to bananas. One is a high-performance GT type of car that can do almost everything that a pure sports car can do and the Z06 is a simple pure sports car with an engine out of a battle ship shoved under the bonnet.

If I was picking a daily driver, M6 over the Z06 any day.

If I already had a daily driver and wanted a sports car. Z06 over the M6 hands down.

Z06 is just insane. I will be camping out at the Chevy dealer when folks turn them in at the end of their leases.

The M6 sounded nice in the vid.. I've never really been a big fan of the vette but the GTO is starting to catch my eye...

well considering that the z06 is about $70k-$85 depending on where you live and the M6 is over $120k no matter what, I'll take the z06 since it is faster and the curbside appel is not that bad either.

I can agree with that ^^^

Performance : Z06 > M6

Exterior : Z06 > M6 although M6 is not bad

Interior : M6 > Z06

Price : Z06 >>> M6

Curb appeal - Both good, BMW may have more status, but I never care much for that.

All I care is whether I like the car & couldn't care less whether a certain "type" of people is "supposed" to drive it.

I think its pretty cool the 2+2 coupe has the V-10 and the sports car has the V-8. As for differentaton, the M6 and Z06 both do little to seperate from a looks persepctive. I will say the M6 looks better with that kit, the Vette is already a looker and looks downright nasty (in a good way) in Z06 form.

Believe it or not, I would go with the M6 b/c I got room for some luggage and 3 other people if need be and I WON'T be tracking neither car often. To me, I will be glad to give up a tick or two in acceleration or slalom times to have more practicality.
