Best Used German coupe for low $30s?

Just a side note, there's a guy over at bimmerforums.com that will give you the service history of a BMW if you provide the vin number. He hangs out in the E46 forum. http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...play.php?f=168 . His sn is 325ix or something similar.

I must say this statement confuses the crap out me...
As for his choices I think it will have to be a very used M3 (low 30's).
If I had to buy a BMW coupe I'd get the 335i coupe. I know that's
more like 50K, but I'd pay an extra 20K to have a newer design.

I've already commented here but does your friend know he's a wannabe? I mean he wants a car as a status symbol yet he can barely afford a new Accord or Camry in reality. Tell him to stop frontin' and buy a Jetta... lol Was your friend in the "Pretty Fly (for a white guy)" music video by any chance? Just remember, you get what you pay for most of the time, so be aware...
