It’s not exactly unrecognisable, with the main changes being a slightly more aggressive front bumper, gaining larger intakes reminiscent of the new Turbo item.
The rear bumper is also tweaked, The new rear light clusters will be LED items, with their lense cutting into the bumper (in a similar way to the headlights on the Porsche 996 models).

IMO the 911s have too much overhang and/or short wheelbase for this day and age. Not saying they are not nice, but (IMO) the long overhangs show it's old roots.
I prefer the looks of todays modern front/mid or mid/rear engine cars.
