Default Porsche 997: Facelift Pictures

Posted on 13th November, 2006

It’s not exactly unrecognisable, with the main changes being a slightly more aggressive front bumper, gaining larger intakes reminiscent of the new Turbo item.

The rear bumper is also tweaked, The new rear light clusters will be LED items, with their lense cutting into the bumper (in a similar way to the headlights on the Porsche 996 models).

Nice.

Nice...I like that MC. The '06 was a bit roundish in front.

A nice clean 996/997 never ceases to amaze me.

it amazes me how they improve on the same basic design since...well forever, yet it looks better and better every generation.

i couldn't really tell the difference exactly, but i could tell the car is different. and i think the facelift makes the car looks slicker, i like it

IMO the 911s have too much overhang and/or short wheelbase for this day and age. Not saying they are not nice, but (IMO) the long overhangs show it's old roots.

I prefer the looks of todays modern front/mid or mid/rear engine cars.
