wow a new chevy that looks decent (minus the vette). I would even consider taking a test drive...if it didn't have that UGLY MOTHER F'ING front end. GM is come oh so close but....

Hell, I even liked the interior excluding the shifter boot.

Everything looks good until you get to those disgusting taillights. That ruins
the whole car for me.
Suprised nobody pointed out this similarity yet: the shape of the back is very late 90's Maxima. Take your finger and cover the top wedge of the taillight (of the angled rear view) and you have yourself the late 90's Maxima.
Hahaha.

i must say that i'm really impressed with their current line up the interiors are totally what i wouldnt expect from a Chevy/GM which is a good thing.
Now if they bring over the designs from down under and from their european design wing they would have a better chance at attracting customers that would normally be drawn to euro cars. Now let's see how well they hold up.

I am with mike on this one mostly.
1) The interior is what I think looks the best.
2) The front looks like a cross between that Ugly Durango and that Half van thing Chevy made. The HR5? or something like that.
3) The back looks ehhhhhh. Its clean but the indent with the hood and the trunk looks funny to me.
It one hell of an improvement over the previous malibu but its still a MALIBU.
I never even knew that the Malibu was in the same class as the Camry. They seem like worlds apart to me.

Maybe it's me but when someone changes body styles it seem like GM or Ford copies the old style and pickes it up. That car looks straight Nissian Altima all day long.
I see the Altima rear end there way more than the TL except the the rear pillar, and the rest is all Altima, inside too. They jacked up the front end tho.
