The current SL should be a classic for a variety of reasons. Sexy styling, ,power, great ride, "timeless design", etc. I fell in love with them day one. Whenever I drive my uncle's I still get that same rush each and every time. As for similarities with the SC430 there are few if any, but both are great coupe/convertibles for similar reasons. The SL should and will be a classic. And it doesn't hurt that it's an MB with lineage unlike the SC430 which is actually far more rare. Exclusive cars for different reasons. Hats off to MB for making a Great One.
