I have enjoyed the space and luxury for the past year, and need a small practical rocket to throw around the corners.
If you want a small car you can throw around corners, it is hard to beat a Mazda Miata, but a Miata may not quite meet your definition of " practical. "

the gs is going to be our beater (already is?) and the sc430 is a nice coupe for the family. i see two cars in the future for us

1) big sedan, and the ls460l / ls600hl is almost alone on the list
2) if we have kids, then we need cars like sienna or rx400h, but seems like minivan is a much better option at this point

gene are you saying that people have a lot of mixed feelings on the m6, or there are a lot of problems on the car? that's interesting to know, thought the m6 is pretty solid car

S2000 or Elise or Exige, only to be equipped with a turbocharger and standalone. In a couple of years.

My G35 lease is up in July but I'm 50% sure I'll be keeping it.....unless the new G35 coupe looks so good I can't refuse. At this point, I don't think so. I looked at the new 2nd gen G35 sedan this weekend. It's a better car than the old one but nothing to swoon over. The interior looks only marginally better and the styling doesn't make the rooster crow. The coupe maybe a whole lot better though.
Then there's the 335, I need to test drive it but I actually like my G's styling better.
In a couple years I hoping some investments pay off and I'll be looking to go big. Maybe M6, Z06, CL, M5...I don't know. Maybe even my dream car, the 575 Maranello.
