Hahaha, maybe I'll pretend to be gay take the car and drive off to
some other state. Sounds like a good plan.
I need to save up for the LS460 so I must resist the temptation.
To be honest, these commercials are kind of depressing... Christmas
has become so materialistic in this country.

LOL Marshmall... But that would make you a tease no?
Besides it might start giving women the idea they can lead men on just until they get what they want.

I agree, regardless, it's very smart advertising. You want to appeal to as many customers as possible. It's open for interpretation.
Personally, I think it's brilliant and will have more of an effect than even hoped for. Gay people are 10% of our population and we have a lot of disposible income, which is why we can afford great and fun cars. I remember Jaguar advertising for the gay community years ago. Toyota/Lexus must have caught on to this huge market segment.

Yea, I guess it's a formal campaign that a lot of makers OTHER than Ford have launched:

"...Lincoln, from Ford Motor Co., has not yet specifically done so (and, interestingly, is the only one whose sales are in steep decline)."

I saw the commercial just 2 days ago, I like the way it was shot. It's good Lexus is catering to a diverse customer base, and this commercial exemplifies that...its open to both gay and straight audiences.

I saw both commercials during the Monday night game, never thought about it being a gay thing. 2 neighbors, men or women, trying to figure out who the gift is for, obviously one of thier spouses bought them a new car and it's parked right between the 2 houses, how is this a gay thing?

"two Men" Spot Has Been Pulled From Rotation
FYI:
email just received:
Since early IAG Brand research data on the 2 Men DSE spot returned scores significantly lower than the other two December to Remember spots in terms of likeability and brand recall, we have elected to remove the 2 Men spot from both National and LDA rotations.
