Statements like this shows your almost utter disgust to the brand, so why even post? The RX was the first of its kind and now everyone has tried to recreate some of the RX magic with their own SUVs. The RX is not TRYING to be sporty, it knows its role and clearly sells best in class.

Even when I drove one, I didn't love it but it was crystal clear the car did perform for what it was built for.

ES + IS = 6678 + 3599 = 10277 still doesn't affect the order

Disgust in the brand? Hello, I own two Lexii, and probably a lot more to come. Just because I don't like particular models, doesn't mean I'm disgusted with the brand.

I am however somewhat disappointed in the new generations Lexus models, for the following reasons:
1) Built quality and materials of interiors gone way down
2) Near identical exterior design across the entire model range.

The bottom 2 points are your opinion and that I can respect, even if I do not agree.

Flawed logic. V-8 sales are always very small compared to V-6 sales. V-8 Rls would be maybe 55-60k, no one is going to buy that and if they did, maybe 100 sales a month.
So if Acura sells 700 V-6 RLs a month, then not even 1/2 that will be V-8 sales. They still would not break 1,000 a month in this hypothetical November.

Let me say, it is not like the world is holding it's collective breath waiting for a V-8 Acura. PRESTIGE is the name of the game at that price point and if you lack it, you will suffer.
