My initial thought after looking at the preview pictures, the accord didn't look so good. Now looking at these pictures, i really love the way it looks. It has that sleek aggressive look to it. Definitely a bajillion times better looking than the solara and altima coupe. No doubt Honda is going to sell a lot of these. The looks is not something you would expect out of a family economical car.

yes i had the same sentiments and in the flesh i couldnt believe how the car looked. i was speechless for about couple mins as the car rotated on the turntable. It just needs to be dropped an inch and just add 5 spoke wheels. But honda did their homework right on this one to go against camry/solara

the coupe concept is 95% production according to the product specialists and known concept - production design on previous honda models. Theyve nailed the head on this one, and im curious to see how the accord sedan will look like. Perhaps maybe in New York they will announce its world debut?

We've seen the coupe a few weeks ago. And here is the sedan version.
This illustration (I think) shows us the larger US Accord.
Not the more modern looking and slightly smaller Euro Accord that will end up here as the next Acura TSX.
No other news yet. I guess the 3.0 Liter V6 will grow to 3.2 or even 3.5 Liter. But I hear they might keep the same 2.3 Liter engine as a base model. Adding just a little more power to it.
On sale in the fall.
