I'd rather have a Saturn Sky Redline if I was buying in that class of car, even if it is a bit heavier... much stronger in terms of power and handling is about on par.

The build quality on the Miatas never impressed me over the long haul, all the ones I have driven seemed under powered and very loud inside, too. Fun to drive but I wouldn't want to own one - just drive a friend's occasionally on a nice summer day.

My friend had a 04 mazdaspeed edition! Factory turbo'd and he had everything done to it before having to spend 2500$ on a new ECU and all. He ran mid 13's all day. It was a fun car to drive and toss around corners. He just traded it for a new 06 STi though. Its fun too!

Firstly I agree that the car has great handling and is a blast to drive. There's a racing series dedicated to the Miata for a reason. Personally I just wouldn't feel one bit cool driving one around. I wouldn't mind it if I were on an island vacation or something...top down...zipping down the windy coastline, but I'd much rather be in a Porsche or 3-series vert, that's all.

As far as Beyonce goes...she looks exactly like Jennifer Lopez these days...sure she's got a thick ***, but she sure isn't "heavy".
