Toyota CENTURY
#62
Well, regarding the Century, subjectively, it's not my style.
Objectively I still fail to see a 100 thousand dollar car despite the features I've read about so far.
Maybe there are more?
I'd love to read some more tech details about the car itself - like chassis architecture (maybe even torsional and bending rigidity, natural resonant frequency, etc), dynographs, decible meter readings, additional features or selling points that could be made side by side against the LS460, for example like is it safer? Quieter? More reliable? More isolation between the road and cabin? More rear passenger room?
Is this really a 40 year old car with a 10 year old motor and electronics system and modern day transmission? Or is there more than meets the eye? Has everything changed except the way it looks? Kinda like the newest style 'retro' Mustang, except a whole lot more convincingly retro.

You can get some of your questions answered on this site
http://toyota.jp/century/index.html
As you mentioned, you can easily get it translated with babelfish. I didn't bother to try because I can read some of those.

this car stands for tradition so it is meant to be timeless.. hence the conservative style and the name century. its a pure status symbol
this is the updated Century.. well sort of.. its only for the emperor
this is just badass

From looking at the website and reviewing other info Threxx is right this is not a car worth 100K. Its a car worth much more. Rear climate control and 10 way power seats with electric lumbar and headrests, and memory for the rear seats plus theres a rear cupboard for you to put newspapers in a negative ion generator so a rear passenger can smoke a cigar without smelling up the inside of the car rear TV and dvd player with a screen thats level to the driver and not high mounted rear wooden tray tables, suede headliner, highmounted rear climate vents with vents in the floor and headliner as well. And to think all of this for only 94,000 and its a V12 thats handbuilt unfortunately this cant be siad about the S600 which cost about 30k more.
