Wow, that's some great results. Is the car still under full warranty with that mod like it is (I think) with some Dinan stuff?

need to see the dyno graph to see how the power is distributed now, stock curve dies too early

As far as I recall it is not covered under warranty. However, they Excede ECU comes with OEM harness connectors to allow an easy simply tap in solution. If you simply disconnect the Excede the stock ECU maps will still be intact on the OE ECU thus revert back to stock parameters.
While I'm not endorsing trying to trick the dealerships, the mod is undetectable if disconnected and removed. All you have to do is remember to disconnect and remove it before going to the dealer Supposedly there is a room next to the stock ECU under the hood for the Excede, so removal would actually be a breeze as well.

still needs more level power in the higher rpms, if that torque level was maintained after 5k instead of dropping it would be significantly faster. And being on a track its all about midrange to top end power. Seems the maximum gain was near 2k rpm, excellent for city driving, irrelevant on a track

Thanks for your sound opinion. I think I found my great car for city driving, because that's where I spend most of my driving time at.

In this case the IS should be really sucks in city driving then and is great on the track compares to the 335i?

Actually, in track environments, especially autocross and the like, the lower and mid-range RPM's are just as important as the higher RPM ranges. The place where most emphasis would be placed on the upper range is a drag strip, where the car is at WOT the entire time... I agree, though, I would like to see that torque curve a little less "curvy."

...sorry to say, but that's it?

3.0L, I6, and twin turbos and only gaining that much?

On top of that, Vishnu's work in the EVO world has had a lot of criticism (he was actually banned from SOCALEVO.NET / NORCALEVO.NET) due to erratic tunes and such....I'll wait until open source ECU programming and logging hits the German folks, but damn...such a waste!
