The metalwork looks great but I don't really care for the "pickup" looks.

Looks like a great deal of work went into making that conversion. Although personally, I wouldn't do it myself.

i think no matter how much you reinforce a car like that, with no roof to keep torsional rigidity, the original characteristics will be shot.

and even with the exceptional bodywork and detail i saw in the project, lopping off a roof.....yeah.

poor m5 indeed.
