Strangely enough...I think it's kinda cool. The idea is original and it looks like a blast to drive.

the entire point of this particular car is that they paid utmost attention to the chassis dynamics and vehicle stiffness. supposedly it drives exactly like a normal M5

I'm all for "to each his own" - but that is quite possibly the most ridiculous waste of a perfectly good car I have ever seen.
