Any other hypothetical situations u would like to make up and state?
Lexus has done well but to be perfectly honest without the LS, GS, IS, ES, RX, GX, LX, sales would be in the tank
Lexus has done well but to be perfectly honest without people to buy them, let us just say a black plague hits again, sales would be in the tank
Lexus has done well but to be perfectly honest if BMW had that exact same problem, they would be #1 in sales in America

Lexus is doing well but seriously... 13,164 3-series and 7,460 5-series sold!!
That is just crazy. BMW is quite simply unstoppable there.

From this thread in the 3GS forum, it seems like there aren't many GS350's around in the Lexus dealerships, seems like they aren't producing much of them ? : http://sr1.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=256410

First off, WTF does BMW have to do with that statement? Pointing at other manufacturers to somehow add "credibility" to your statement seems to be a trend here and in other threads. Please stop the shell game and address the post head on.
Back on topic..
How is my comment "hypothetical". The reality is that Lexus Car sales would in fact show a significant drop had it not been for the new IS. Is that such a bad thing?

That is not a factual statement...
3 Series 120,180 106,950 12%
Z Series 12,284 10,045 22%
5 Series 56,756 52,722 8%
6 Series 9,322 9,934 -6%
7 Series 17,796 18,165 -2%
I give the LS plenty of credit, it will certainly ramp up quickly. The SC/GS are where it is lacking. Also, the ES at +12% is "OK" but I don't think it is meeting Lexus' own expectations.

Your thinking is flawed. Why are you only looking at arbitrary percentages for each model? Why not mention the percentage that a model makes up of the total sales?
Let me break it down for you: Lexus sales in December were 37,235. Of those sales, ES and IS sales *combined* equal 14,274. So in December, ES and IS sales combined were 38% of total Lexus sales.
Now, BMW. December sales for BMW were 30,945. Of those sales, 3 and 5 Series sales *combined* equal 20,624. So in December, 3 and 5 Series sales combined were a whopping 66% of total BMW sales. I'll even go so far as to only compare 3 Series sales against total BMW sales. 3 Series sales alone make up a huge 43% of total BMW sales in December. If that's not reliance on one model, I don't know what is.
And for kicks, let's take a look at Audi sales. Total Audi December sales were 11,897. Of those sales, the A4 alone accounted for 57% of the sales. That is an even bigger reliance on one model than BMW has with the 3 Series.
So if you take away IS sales, Lexus *still* beats BMW in total sales for the month of December. If you take away IS and ES sales, Lexus still has a healthy amount of sales in December thanks to the LS and RX. If you take away the 3 Series alone from BMW, then the results are catastrophic, because the 3 Series makes up a very significant chunk of BMW sales.
And the ES not meeting Lexus' expectations? Are you for real? The ES has been consistently selling well, and even the old model sold pretty well. Now the new model is selling more than ever. Lexus' public expectations are 70K annual sales for the new ES, and they have already exceeded that, despite the new ES being on sale only since May.
