Currently only the LX 470 offers a nightvision system, courtesy of a HUD projection system.

The LS 460 / 460 L / 600h frontal pre-collision system uses a nightvision camera, but the driver does not have access to it.

The LX has the nightvision screen projected on the front windshield.

I think for the S-Class, it's shown on their nav screen...

Actually he has 2 screens on his S class...

In the middle of the gauge cluster there is a viewing screen which handles the night vision .... The navi is located above the center console...

It actually looked cool at first however it makes the cluster look odd to me over time...

BTW.... the nightvision gives a pretty clear viewing angle of whats in front of you.

Lexus has it on the windshield. Best location IMO.

MB has it on the gauge cluster. Second best.

BMW hacked the iDrive screen. Worst location since it is not in your line of sight. I think they did this because they offer head up display as well and there was no other place to put the screen.

I might get an option like this when it turns the outside of your windshield from night to day but not some stupid little square of it.

Agreed..... That feature surprised me when I drove my bros. benz since I was unaware of it. It seems like a feature that the LS460 should have as an option.

I think rominl is referring to this option below(which doesn't exist yet) ?

I would like to have it too if that's the case.
