I will have to agree with you, Audi does make some of the classiest looking wagons on the planet and I do like the new Passat Wagons as well.

In this class, I agree, & I would drive the Mazda6 wagon as well.

Nice, but it's out of my budget for a stationwagon

Audi made great looking wagon with the performance to back up the look. I love the old 5-cylinder RS2, and that's the first Audi I like. The first gen RS4 is my favorite. Audi used to save the RS badge for the stationwagon only. Not anymore...

But the best "affordable" wagon out there IMO is the Volvo V70R. Great performance, great utility, great (relative) gas mileage.

Tis - but we won't get it here - they are going to bring the 535 instead (still not a bad vehicle).

Yes! This is what I wanted, so too bad we're not getting them in the US.

So now I'd have to decide between a 528i which would be a bit soft and a 535i which is more power than I could practically use and enjoy. The 530i was a perfect balance IMO.

I dunno Steve, that twin turbo engine might just be perfect.....

I do agree, a shame we can't get the 530 - especially with the extra hp. However you can and should be able to make yourself a sweet deal on an 07 right now
