Beck LM800 is a made-to-order sports car that will cost some $601,000 if you want your own. Among its interesting features are a 650-hp 4.2-liter V8 and a Formula 1-style hydraulic active chassis.

VIENNA — While the showstoppers in Detroit tended to be alt-fuel vehicles such as the Chevrolet Volt, another party — this one celebrating pure performance — was taking place across the pond at the Luxury Motor Show in Vienna.
One of the breathtaking new models making its debut here is the new Beck LM800, which made its worldwide debut on Wednesday. Beck is a Swiss manufacturer specializing in the production of lightweight high-performance sports cars.
The Beck LM800 is powered by a turbocharged 650-horsepower 4.2-liter V8 linked to a seven-speed gearbox. One of the most unusual features of the car is a built-in pneumatic jacking system, which is rare in a car approved for street use. The car has an electronically controlled hydraulic active chassis, similar to those used in Formula 1 cars. The wheels are made from specially manufactured aluminum parts.
The price for the basic version of the Beck LM GT is the equivalent of U.S. $601,000. The company says it considers each car that it makes a one-off.
Company leader René Beck first showed a race-derived supercar at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show. Called the Orca CH113, it looked very aggressive and purposeful, but despite years of trying, it never went beyond the prototype stage. Now Beck returns with a new company and a new model.
What this means to you: Leave it to the Swiss perfectionists to come up with a true dream car.

Not really feelin it either. There are a ridiculous amount of new entries into the exotic and supercar markets by smaller manufacturers. I wonder often who's going to make it and who will fold.
