Thumbs up Maserati Quattroporte the overlooked underdog

I love this car and seeing it in person and reviewing the lines, it is SO distinctive (In a good way) and offers Ferrari bits and Italian flair.....

Hmmmmmmm

Still doesn't appeal to me the least bit, sorry.
I have seen it in person in Auto shows twice, did nothing for me at all, it doesn't even look like a luxury sedan to me, & I have yet to see one on the road.

Out of all the exotic sedans out there I have to say I have seen this one at least 5 different times on the road , and it definitley caught my eye every single time.

I have seen a few, parked next to one...I like the outside look, in person rather distinctive...I was a bit surprised at those interior pics, I was expecting more of an A8-like interior. At least they have a touchscreen.

One major problem with this car that they finally remedied this year was tranny. The F1 box is a great tranny for low-slung, mid-engine, back-breaking, hemrrhoid-inducing-ride Ferrari... but it is not anywhere close to being refined enough for a luxury sedan. They finally brought a true slush-box option for those wanted smooth, seemless shifts one would expect from even a $20,000 car.

I think it looks very distinctive and unique. However, if you're looking for tons and tons of cool electronic gizmos... you can get a lot more of those with the S-Class, LS, and A8.

I see this car often when driving to work and I have to say it is one of the most ugly looking car. The ES350 turns my head more than this one does.

+1. I've seen quite a few on the road and I just cant get to like it from any angle. Nothing seems to flow. However it does make sweet music.

I like it, except for the Honda-esque taillights. Italians could do better than that...
