The Rav4 has a firmer suspension and sportier handeling than the Rx. Why didn't Toyota give the RX the same suspension geometry
I love the Rav4 so much, that I decided to keep it, and make it more of a daily driver than the x3.. I bought a Magellan portable navi just for the Rav4

I like the suspensions for the straight drivings, but Lexus just need to beef up the sway bars at least.
When you get in the X3, the dentures will fall back out

The GX rear door open sideways, like the CRV, Land Rover Discovery, rav 4 and some other suvs.

This was interesting to see everyones points.. but seriously...
If you are buying a Lexus, BMW, or Porsche SUV.. are you really buying it for utility? For that matter whens the last time you saw a decked out Escalade pulling a boat out the water? Uhm maybe.. one outta a thousand?
The majority of times, and I would bet on this people are buying a *luxory* SUV because its larger than a car and they can fit more of their everyday items in it.. Such as groceries, children, and things from Home Depot and Lowes. That is what they consider to be *utility.*
Besides maybe 3 of you -- who is really going to drag race and or take a turn in their SUV at 45+ mph? Lets be practical. If you REALLY wanted to tow something you'd have a truck, or an SUV based off a trucks platform! The SUV as someone said is a nice alternative to a VAN. Plus where I am RXs are everywhere! I can count 5 to 6 everyday on the way to work! Why change something thats not broken?
No way to an RX-F honestly I don't even think there should be an LS-F. GS-F and IS-F in my mind, and of course the LF-A.

The issue with the GX rear door is not that it opens sideways, but rather that it is hinged on the wrong side. The door should hinge on the left/drivers side to "shield" people from traffic. Granted a plit tailgate does not help as well, but a split tailgate offers plenty of additional benefit.
Maybe that's why the FJ opens from the right side.

I would not call X3 owners idiots.
However, as much as I like BMW's the X3 sux big time.
I would much rather have a 4runner over an X3 any day.
Do you folks know most X3's end up as dealer loaner cars.

No comment on your "conclusion" about X3 owner. I think personal attack is ok as long as you are a moderator.
